All data (items, photos, categories, ratings, and settings) is stored locally on your device only. Broom uses the following external API for functionality: - Anthropic Claude Haiku API (https://api.anthropic.com/v1/messages) to detect item names and suggest categories from photos If you choose to provide a Claude API key, it is stored locally on your device and used solely to communicate with the Anthropic API for item detection. No data from these API requests is stored by Broom on any server. Broom uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to remove photo backgrounds. This processing happens entirely on your device and no photos are sent to external servers for this feature. Broom does not use analytics, tracking, cookies, or advertising.
